Why this programme exists
Open to everyone. Weighted towards those who need it most.
Anyone can apply. The internship is free for every student we take on, and it always will be — we have never charged a fee and never will.
But talent is spread evenly and opportunity is not. Good training costs money many families do not have, and the students who would gain most from it are often the ones priced out of it. So when we choose between applicants, we give special preference to hard-working candidates from underprivileged and economically weaker backgrounds.
We are a small team, so seats are genuinely limited. Applying is open to all; where two candidates are equally strong, the seat goes to the one with fewer options.

What you'll actually do
This isn't a classroom. From week one you'll be part of a real, remote development team — contributing to live projects and learning how professional software is built, tested, and shipped.
- Build real features on live client and in-house projects

Is there any fee for the internship?
No. The internship is completely free — free industrial training, mentorship, and job support. We never charge students any fee.
Is the internship remote?
Yes — the internship is fully remote and you work from home. All you need is a laptop and a reliable internet connection.
Who can apply for this internship?
Any student or recent graduate, from any stream, anywhere in India. Applications are open to everyone. Because seats are limited, we give special preference at selection to hard-working candidates from underprivileged and economically weaker backgrounds, and to students based in Pune and nearby areas — but nobody is barred from applying, and we look at effort and willingness to learn above marks or means.
Do you prefer candidates from Pune?
We give some preference to students based in Pune and nearby areas such as Wagholi, Kharadi, Viman Nagar, Hadapsar and Chandan Nagar, because being in the same city makes occasional in-person sessions and faster onboarding possible. It is a preference, not a requirement — applicants from elsewhere in India are welcome and are selected regularly.
Do I need to prove my financial background?
No documents are needed at any stage, and you are not required to discuss your circumstances at all. If you would like them considered, you can mention them at the interview and we will take you at your word and keep it in confidence. Not raising it does not count against you.
Do I need a computer science degree or coding experience?
No. Students and recent graduates from any stream can apply. Some basic programming familiarity helps, but genuine interest and willingness to learn matter far more — several of our best interns started with almost none.
Do you hire interns full-time?
Yes. Top-performing interns are offered full-time roles with RizTech Academy. Your internship is a real audition for a job with us.
What if I'm not hired at the end?
We still support your career. You get job placement help — resume reviews, mock interviews, and referrals to companies in our network — so you leave job-ready.
How long is the internship?
Internships typically run for 3–6 months depending on the track and your availability. We agree on the schedule before you start.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes — on successful completion you receive a certificate, and strong performers also get a letter of recommendation and real projects for their portfolio.
