States can require sales tax collection based on economic nexus, not physical presence. We integrate Stripe Tax, TaxJar or Avalara rather than hand-coding rules, and build it in from the start so checkout is not reworked later.
HIPAA, if you touch health data
Healthcare and wellness products need a Business Associate Agreement, encryption at rest and in transit, access controls and audit logging. That is an architecture decision, so tell us at the start rather than after launch.

Stripe is the default for most US startups. Square suits businesses with a physical location. SMS enquiry converts well with US consumers and is worth including alongside forms.
